Beef is the culinary name for meat from bovines, especially domestic cattle. Beef is one of the principal meats used in the Cuisine of Australia, European cuisine and cuisine of the Americas, and is also important in Africa, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. In the Middle East, lamb is usually preferred over beef. Beef is taboo for Hindus and is not eaten by the Hindu population in India. It is also discouraged among some Buddhists.

Beef can be cut into steaks, pot roasts or short ribs, or it can be ground. The blood is also used in some varieties of blood sausage....
and alot of other stuff.

Idiot!

Cow

Beef is cow muscle

Beef....comes from Beef Cattle....Cows.... *i am shocked at this question* : 0...

It is made of dead cows, except for some parts of Shanghai and Tijuana where cats, clams and corpses get thrown into the mix.

what you eat is the muscle of the cow. Muscle is any meaty area that is attached to bones and the butcher hacks into all different cuts of meat.

Beef is not made from cow BLOOD. Beef is the meat (or muscle tissue) of a cow.

Beef comes in several forms: hamburger, steak, etc.

Where else did you think beef came from? For that matter, pork and bacon come from the muscle tissue of a pig - chicken is the muscle tissue of... well... a chicken. Turkey is muscle tissue of a turkey.

Turning vegetarian is not really that logical. It's called The Food Chain. Humans are on top of this particular food chain. This is what we eat. This is what we need in order to maintain a healthy diet. Of course, vegetarians find alternate means of nutrition, but its easier just to enjoy your meat!

Beef is from a cow. If you are wondering what ground beef is made of, that is a different story. Just think about ribs, or a t-bone etc, and how that comes from a different part of a cow (If you go to the link, there's a little picture of what parts we eat. And no it's not a real pic, it's drawn). But I do know a certain of fat can be added to hamburger "meat". The rules are a bit weird as USDA sets them but then each state can sometimes have even higher standards. Personally, if you are that interested in it, research and read up.

O and yes, there is blood in raw beef you buy. Haven't you ever bought steaks and seen the red blood at the bottom of the packaging? It's normal.

Beef is made of brutally slaghtered cow. Cow blood is cooked into the beef to give it more flavor, texture, and nutrients. The blood running out of innocent cow veins is in the mouths of millions.

Beef is from cows. The blood she is talking about is actually flavor to the meat or steak. I know it sounds gross, but the protein from meat is very good for you. And if you get a well done steak it isn't as good as one prepared medium to rare and it is because of the quality of the meat and the blood.
