Can't eat breakfast?!

Yes, it's perfectly normal for some people. My hubby has never been able to eat in the morning. He's tried. Early morning food just won't stay down.

His meal pattern is different from just about everyone else I know, but it works for him. He's healthy.

That always happened to me when I was in high school because of anxiety. It could be nothing though...I know a lot of people who don't eat breakfast and aren't hungry until lunch.

I have the same problem but since breakfast is the best meal of the day i trained myself to eat. start slowly like a yogurt, the next day a banana, the next couple of days cereal and so on. when you get past the gag effect it'll be pretty easy.

. in junior high and high school i never ate breakfast. i would gag, so don't worry to much about it. if you do you might want to see your doctor.

when i was working i trained myself so i would not be hungry in the morning and now it's hard trying to untrain myself. i think it's normal anyway it's normal to me. if it is bothering you more then check with your doctor.

i used to gag on food too when i was in school..yeah like someone said above it was mostly due to anxiety..also i have chronic acidity..dnt go completey empty stomach...have some fruits atleast fr bfast

Yes, it seems harder to eat when you just wake up. Your body isn't really going yet. I think a lot of people have this problem. I would try a healthy drink, yogurt smoothie, or ensure, carnation instant breakfast is good, or even just juice or milk would work. Give your brain some fuel.

Try drinking a glass of water right when you wake up. Then I don't think you will get that gross feeling. I actually think you will feel hungry after a nice glass of h20!

IM NOT SURE SOME PEOPLE JUST AREN'T REALLY HUNGARY IN THE MORNING REMEMBER YOUR STOMACH IS STILL SLEEPY FROM SLEEP. SO MAYBE ITS NOT OPEN TO EATING ANYTHING UNTIL A LITTLE LATER

No its not very normal. But the best way is the find something for breakfast that can prevent this.
Sometimes milk [in cereal] isn't the best way to start the day, so maybe you should try something else like eggs or yoghurt. I've found that apples are quite acidic in the mornings-along with pineapple.
If you're still concerned, and nothing is working maybe you should see a doctor/nutrionist.

I'm the same, if I smell sausages and Bacon in the morning I just wanna puke. So normally I eat in the afternoon.

I was like that as a kid. I recall throwing up my oatmeal under the rose bushes before leaving our yard. One day I threw up on my desk in class. Second grade teacher asked me to explain my problem as she was cleaning me up in the back room. I told her my mom insisted I eat breakfast but I can't hold it down. Teacher said to tell my mom, no more breakfast. After that, no more throwing up.
