Toaster issues!!!?!

Question: who decided to put the 6 knob on the toaster that burns your toast to charcoal that no one in their right mind would eat!! and why is it that every time i put my toast in somehow it has been turned up to 6!!!

I hear ya. In my experience, however, I've found that toasting bagels and pop-tarts requires that extra notch of heat to get things thicker than a slice of bread to toast. Could just be me or my toaster, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Its dead annoying, they could at least have the common decency to turn it back down. Anyhow who's idea was it to make toasters that go up that high.
