Pictures printed on cakes?!

Question: so you know how if you go to TCBY you can get your picture printed on a cake and it's edible?
is there anyway that a store like that, or even a supermarket can make like 2 dozen inidividual little "cupcake sized" ones? have you ever heard if that/seen that?
any idea how much that would cost?
thank you!

The other comments are right, you can't get the picture small enough for the cupcakes, but you CAN have them put the cupcakes together and frost them like they do a sheet cake! Then they could do one picture, and then when you are ready to serve them, you could just break them up. We did that for a class party, and it worked great!

I have heard that actually i have never really bought one but me and my friend Hayley begged my mom to buy one but we were in the bathroom at the time but i would think 20 to 30 $'s!

I used to work at Jewel (midwest grocery store) and we did that there. It is kind of like a giant printer that is upside down and blows food coloring down onto a cake. I don't think you could do 24 tiny prints because a cupcake is just too small to look nice. Just like a computer, when you make pics too big or too small, they stop looking nice. I know we couldn't do them on the 9'' round cakes, only the full sheet, half sheet, and quarter sheet rectangle cakes. I suppose you could find out from a store if you could do that, but I wouldn't count on it. Any major grocery store should be able to do it- it's not exactly rocket science. I don't remember how much it cost because I worked there 8 years ago.
