Answers: They taste so good yet I cant get away. I need some help!

To keep my mind off food i chew gum so i have the taste of peppermint in my mouth so i wont want to eat it.

Sniff neroil (essential oil) it cuts down craving and how much you eat. Also drink soda water, that cuts down you appetite.

The same way as you treat a live wire...avoid it.
.

Don't resist. It's o.k. to have a little treat. Just don't eat the whole box.

not eat fatty and sugary food

- dont keep them in you place
- fill your stomach with other food.
- control yourself, have some confidence.

Just don't put them into your mouth. Find something else, flavored water with zero calories, or those puffy rice biscuits that taste like cardboard :-)

make yourself full with other healthy food.

eat lots of fruits and vegetables. vegetables have lots of fibre which can make ur stomach full fast but eating them too much wont make u fat.

when ur stomach is full u wont feel like eating fatty and sugary foods.

when u started to feel like eating fatty and sugary foods, drink fruit juices like orange juice.

2 ways:

1. Craving are a result of body not getting all the necessary nutrients. so you have to eat carbs, protein and vegetables.

2. My dietican recommends Glutamine powder… 1 tsp in one glass water am/pm. This is great to improve nutrient absorption and can help overcome cravings

i can sympathise with you the body seems to crave stuff that's not so good.
best way i found is not to have them in the house stock up on fruit nuts yogurt and drink lots of water.
good quality cereals also fill the void.
ok to treat yourself occasionally with the other stuff

Eat foods with more fiber and protein. You'll feel fuller for longer and you'll be more able to resist the snacking urge which can lead to fatty and sugary foods.

you must resist it by controling yourself.you only need self discipline....

Start researching what they do to you biochemically, until you come across some reasons that really hit home.
The best way for me to change any habit is to truly be convinced and have some very specific reasons come to mind when I am tempted. You begin to eat with purpose, more intentionally.
For example, it was easy to stop drinking soda when I learned that the caffeine and the carbonation (calcium carbonate) both prevent the body from absorbing calcium.
Watch Dr. Oz on Oprah for some excellent reasons, with visuals, regarding unhealthy fats.
Sugar is still a stumbling block for me, but it helps to remember that it increases pain, weakens the immune system, prolongs illness, and stresses the adrenal system. I also remember what diabetes did to my grandmother (stroke, blindness, premature death).
Also it is immediately gratifying to watch your skin and hair begin to change, usually within 3 days, to really fine quality.
Your hair gets shiny (drink lots of water too), and your skin will take on a clarity and glow that cannot be achieved in any other way-gorgeous,
Keeps you from looking "old' and dull, your energy goes up, you sleep better.
The benefits of replacing these things with healthy foods are endless.
That is also key, keep in mind that you are replacing things, not depriving yourself (of what, poor long and short term health?!!!).
It also doesn't take real long before you notice that you don't want the unhealthy foods nearly as much as when you ate them all the time. That is because you are correcting the nutritional deficiencies that fuel those cravings (for more on that, read "Dead Doctors Don't Lie").
If you have any family history of illness such as Osteoporosis, etc., now is the time to start eating to prevent that from happening to you.
Also, if the mainstay of your diet is healthy, you can still enjoy the "treats" in moderation.
"Eat Right For Your Type" is an excellent book that has some fascinating, non-technical studies of what foods are most suited to your particular blood type. It is uncannily accurate, and the stuff it reccomends to eat/not eat was exactly how I felt about those things to a huge extent.
Best of health to you, you should get some real interesting answers to this.
