Why does green tea make things grow?!

Question: am trying to do research for my science fair project, and it's getting frustrating because I can't find what I'm looking for. I am teasting whether or not green tea makes plants grow faster or not, and I need some research for my hypothosis. I hear alot that green tea makes things grow fast, so I am trying to find out what ingrediants or property in green tea helps things to grow faster. Help is very much appreciated. =]

My geuss would be something to do with Nitrogen.
Plants help to convert nitrogen into ways that animals can use. In fact animals cannot live with this process.

Perhaps green tea, or the green tea plant is high in nitrogen or has certain traits that allow it convert higher amounts of nitrogen, than say other plants.

Farmers use Nitrogen in artifical fertilizers to help ensure that their land is good.

Interesting question, maybe green tea, lol, is a more friendly way of fertilizing farmer's fields.
