Are there any sweet, green apples?!

Question: My daughter only will eat green apples and I am trying to learn if it has to do with taste or just the color. If you have kids, you will recognize this kind of decision-making behavior in young children.

I like Johnathan apples. But try this experiment. Get some caramel and/ or yogurt to dip them into, and cut up both red and green. Peel a few pieces of each color. Serve the apples on a divided plate, or at least separated into red w/peel, green w/peel, and the peeled all together with the caramel and/ or yogurt dipping sauce in the middle or on the side. See if she eats all the peeled or if she bites into them and leaves some half eaten. Then you'll know for sure

Geen apples = granny smith, green gold delicious and that's about it.

Green/Red apples = Braeburn, Macintosh, Fuji

Maybe you could buy a Braeburn - peel it, cut it up and see what she says. It is worth the try
