Anyone remember Texan/Texas chocolate Bars ?!

Question: They were a chewy chocolate bar with like a caramel nougat inside, remember having them when I was little back in the early 80's, stopped making them in the mid 80's for what reason I don't know as they were really tasty.
Anyone I talk to can't remember them, can you ?

I was only talking about them yesterday with a mate, truely yummy, the kids today don't know what they missed out on!! Tough too eat but oh so yummy

Perhaps you should blog onto Chris Evans website and ask him to find out if they are still made, cause i'd buy them

God yes. i remember buying a multi pack of them from Woolworth's with my pocket money. They nearly pulled out my teeth though over the weeks it took to eat them.

I do and I have not seen them for a long time, they were tough to eat as I recall...

I remember them allright , they were bloody gorgeous !!

Oh Bugger ! , Im hungry now.

no

they relaunched them about 18 months ago here in the UK
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???

they even have them on Ebay
http://search.ebay.co.uk/texan-bars_W0QQ...
but i got them in my local paper shop
they are smaller, but still yummy

I was talking to someone about those today. I couldn't find them on ebay. I used to love Star Bars too & they've brought those back so lets hope there is somewhere else to by texas bars. They were sort of like the top layers of a double decker.
