Pop rocks? I saw a thing on Food Netwk the other day that told how they make them...memories. That was the candy of choice when my kids were little!

We ate very little candy when I was young, and did not have soft drinks except couple times a year. My family was improvished, with 4 young kids at home. My mother made the most wonderful home made breads, sourdoughs, jams and preserves, cakes, pies fruit cobblers from fruit we processed ourselves, fudges and divinity. Not often, but a few times would she make fondant mints, suckers, and taffy. I guess that is why I am so much healthier than my peers, today.

If we did get a candy bar, it was chick o' stick or peanut logs, with the peanut butter filling, malt balls or bridge mix and occationally orange slices.

I loved and still love Hot Tamales

are you thinking of Pop Rocks?

CCC(choclate chip cookies) YUM!!!!!!!...

pop rocks..
all time favorite candy!!!

sugary candies like fundip

im still a kid....
........chocolate
......ice cream
....candies
..and more

I believe it was called turkish taffy. It was in a long flat strip and there were different flavors. Also, my mom baked every day. She always put her baked goods on the counter. Everyone went directly to that counter when they came over - family, friends and neighbors. Cookies, cakes, whatever. She is the best.
