Why can't you buy soft-serve ice cream at the grocery store?!
Answers: You know, like a bucket of soft-serve ice cream? I always have to put my ice cream in the microwave for a few seconds to soften it up.
ure right! someone should amke one! in japan, i went to a convenietn store and they had a machine for ice crem..u could purchase a whole barrel! we need dat!.lol
I love soft serve ice cream.
because to store soft serve ice cream you would need a soft serve ice cream machine! it is soft serve because it is being churned up until you eat it.
Soft serve ice cream is made in a machine that mixes it to keep it soft. If you took soft serve ice cream and put it in a bucket, and then put it in the freezer, it would also get hard. I used to work in a place that had one of those soft serve machines and the ice cream was originally a powder mixed with water....there was no dairy in that ice cream...very fake.
The frozen containers of ice cream start out as soft-serve until they are frozen and get hard. Anyway, maintaining a soft-serve ice cream machine is hard work. The liquid has to be pumped somewhere from a large container. Obviously, it would be hard to determine how often you would need new liquid. The worst is that keeping the machine clean is very hard and none of us want gross bacteria from poorly kept dairy. But I know, soft serve ice cream rox!
Oh, by the way, our ice cream was never made from a powder. We had a prairie farms milk truck come every few days.
yumm i wish they did sell it like that i love it....
It has to come out of a special machine to be soft.
it would melt way too fast
