Question: I am from Germany and I will have a presentation on Monday. It's in English. But I think, I have some grammatical mistakes in this text.

The text: The food in the 60.s was healthier and cheaper as today. The most people grew their own vegetables, fruits and herbs. Food in general was not expensive not including vegetables, fruits and herbs.
Examples: A roll costs only 5 pfennig, bread 69 pfennig, a prezel 7 pfennig, a bottle of milk circa 50 pfennig and margarine only 1.50 mark.
Butter was in this days too expensive. Fast Food was unkown in Germany. The people used their "own" food in the kitchen. The whole family ate together at the same times every day. At lunch they ate soups(bread soup), pasta with tomato puree and potatoes with quark and herbs. A meal like this only costs three mark. The people ate many stews with carrots, bones as well. For dinner there were meals wit bread, margarine, chives, tomatoes, cucumbers and so on.
