Do refrigerators remove moisture?!
I was putting chocolate mousse cake in the fridge when my housemate was like, no don't put it in the fridge it won't be moist anymore as refrigerators remove moisture.
Is that BS?
Also i like eating cold oranges so i thought i'd put some in the fridge and again my roommate was like the oranges will get ruinned.
Answers: Are refrigerators bad for storing moist food as it'll dry them up?

If it's a frost-free refrigerator (and it would have to be pretty old for it to not be!) then yes, they keep themselves free of frost by removing moisture from the air within.
To keep things from drying out, keep them in an airtight container. Apples don't seem to dry out too fast, but oranges can. If you want to eat a cold one, just stick it in the freezer for about 10 minutes before eating it ;-)
