How come water has an expiration date ?!

Question: cause h2o is a compound.as time goes by and as impurities mix with it,living organisms like bacteria and the like can feed on these impurities and thus multiply.and since bacteria multiplies exponentially,the water then becomes unhealthy to drink.

it doesnt expire, or maybe it does. anyway i drink water out of a bottle that i left there for a week.. maybe im gonna b sick

I think it does expire because i left some water in a car before, for about a month, then when i found it, it was molded
