I've just defrosted a packet of king prawns in the microwave. how long will the rest last?!

Question: i just read that you shouldn't defrost them in the microwave but it's too late now. do i have to eat the whole lot now because the microwave starts the cooking process?

Do not re-freeze them! You'll have to scoff the lot. Lucky you.

You shouldn't do em in the microwave becasue they're already cooked. Next time pop em in a colander or such and run cold water over em.
I wouldn't keep them, next time just take out what you need, defrost as above and reseal the bag back into the freezer.
