try to find a local continental or french market or even a farmers market. every 2nd and 4th sat of the month at Southend hight street essex

i'd start with spelling and grammar lessons!

Walk in one straight line to a big large , not to far away olive tree and START PICKING

They usually sell them near the deli section of your grocery store, ask them around there. My local store has a buffet of olives.

Does in loose mean the same as in bulk? I'm not familiar with that expression.

It depends on where you live. I could say "Selfridge's in the Bull ring Birmingham.

Or the same store in the "Trafford Centre" in Manchester.

In Stratford there is a lovely little Deli that sell Good olive oil from the barrel!

So, you see - we can't really help can we!.........

The deli counter of a supermarket should sell them, or even a delicatessan shop, if you have one nearby.

Some delicatessens do them and so do Waitrose and Morrisons. Waitrose is the best and they have many varieties and marinades. If you are near Bristol there is a whole store in the market dedicated to olives and pickles.
