How long will packaged spaghetti and other pastas last...?!

Question: Are they good forever? or do they go bad after being on the shelf for a long time?

Because pastas, cereals, flour and other grain products are prone to getting tiny beetles in them, it's best to keep them in the fridge or freezer. If pastas are kept cold, dry and airtight, they will last indefinitely.

PS-This goes for dried peas, lentils and beans, also.

THey must last forever I think...none I have ever had went bad
But consider what we are digesting
I think I have consumed some that could be considered fossils :)

They should last for quite some time, as long as they are kept in a cool dry place.

If you do choose to store them for a long time, check them periodically, because they can get bugs in them. Probably its best to store them in an air-tight container if you won't be using them for awhile.

I keep my spaghetti in the fridge and it's there a looooooooooooong time and i've never gotten sick yet. Just keep it refridgerated and it's good for a long, long time.

They are dried out so they will last for quite awhile. Some do have shelf life.Keep cool and dry and dark and keep bugs out....plastic container is good and use the sniff test.Easily 1-2 years.
