When do fresh strawberries come into season for Pennsylvania?!

Question: They sell fresh strawberries at the local grocery store, but they are all fuzzy and yucky-looking. Strawberries are the only fruit that I can get my 3 year old son to eat willingly and I'm wondering when the really nice red juicy strawberries come into season here in PA.
