Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp no one would eat?!

just becuase you wouldnt eat it doesnt mean sumone el;se would, trust and believe therer are people out there that may like burnt toast and if you toast is burnt then maybe ur leaving it at that setting for too long

lol have you ever tried toasting 100% rye? it takes forever!

I like to set it to this highest setting, put in the driest wight bread I can find, and then RUN AWAY from the 7-11 ;)

I love burnt toast.

My mom always burned the toast, so now I think of it as comfort food. LOL

I like burned green beans, too. She burned those on a regular basis.

Maybe so we've got something to clean our teeth with when we run out of toothpaste.....lol (Nomadic Australian Aborginal tribes of the past, used charcoal to clean their teeth with)
