I live in Los Angeles. Lots of eateries. The only one I have consistently recommended to people is Fred 62.
They serve mainly American 'malt shop' cuisine, but their ambiance is so different that I always enjoy going there. They have a website; www.fred62.com/
check it out. Bottom line -it is not so much what you serve, but how you serve it. Good Luck!
Try English class first. So the public will understand your menu's
for your new "RESTAURANT"!
Good Luck.
50's style diner, complete with "car" booths, skating or singing/dancing servers, neon, all that stuff.
remember good expensive coffee is always a plus.
