Tescos 'value' fruit and veg.?!

Question: Does anyone know what makes a food a 'value' food?
I am talking about fruit and veg here, not storecupboard items.
What distinguishes a 'Finest' banana from a 'Value' banana?
Is it just the shape? Weight? Colour?
I ask because I have tried several 'Finest' and 'Value' foods and can honestly say I can't find any difference between the two, apart from the price!
Anyone know why some foods are deemed good enough and others not, and anyone else questioned this?

I think you will find they call it a "lost leader" sorry no I mean "Loss Leader".

I have a son who works for Tescos and he says its good quality foods with good highest standards, they are just as good as other fruits etc but these have been specially picked for tescos.

There's no difference - it's marketing.
