Answers: I thnk it starts with a "k" but not sure.

Kolaches. They are so good, aren't they? They are cooked sausages (you can use little smokies for the little ones) or sausages with cheese and jalapenos wrapped in dough and baked. Served with mustard.

They are called kolaches.

Kolaches are normally filled with fruit or cheese and are sweet. The ones that have sausage filling are called klobasnek. They often use similar bread but are filled with a piece of sausage.

The Czech Stop, in West, TX make the best ones I've tasted!
