Brewed green tea ?!

Question: I would love to be able to bring a thermos of hot tea to work. Do you think I could do this by using my coffee maker ? I have tea bags so would I just put a few bags in where I would put the coffee ??

Green Tea is best when brewed fresh. I also agree it's just as easy to bring hot water in the thermos & make the tea on the spot

Either take the flask of hot water and some teabags and then put the water in a cup at work and follow it with the teabag OR make the tea as normal (in a teapot or in the flask) and then remove the bags once done to your liking and then put the finished drink in your flask.

fill your thermos with boiling hot water and carry the teabags on the side.

Green Tea gets an oily film on it after a couple of hours after being brewed. To me this is totally disgusting. Also cleaning any tea film out of a thermos is not an easy thing to do.

If you do go ahead and brew the tea and put it into your thermos, be sure to wash the thermos very well with soap and hot water and rinse with chlorox or you will get that nasty soured taste to the next pot of tea put in there.

Must be so very careful to properly clean tea containers or we get that soured taste!!!

you can heat up some water, into 8oz. You can lets say, heat 24 oz of water and then, put the tea bags in there for at least five minutes. Stick it in your thermos and into the frig. Next day take it out of the frig and take it to work. Hopefully, you have a micro at work. But at least it is made.

that's how we doi it. still use filter though. reen tea is so good.
