What are differences between spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti bolognese, spaghetti milanese, spaghetti pesto?!
Answers: ...and any other types of spaghetti that exist? I think I am missing these subtle points... although I like spaghetti... please explain, pictures could help too I guess.
I'll send you my cook book about spaghetti. it's my FAVORITE thing to eat in the whole world, and I've made it probably two hundred different ways..... maybe more. in fact, I think that's what we'll have tonight--thanks for the idea!
in Germany, the pesto they served was VERY thick and VERY spicy (not necessarily hot), not like the pesto my Italian friends make. I don't know if it was a regional German thing or not, but anyway, pesto (in my opinion) should be light and flavorful, but not overpowering.
of all the types you've mentioned, pesto is the only one that more or less maintains "traditional" standards wherever you go and whoever you ask. the others are "regionalized" and have been adapted to local tastes. if you're looking for "traditional recipes," you should ask Italianos specifically. otherwise, you'll get varied or very general answers (like tomato sauce with meat--that's not very specific if what you're looking for is "Roma tomato sauce, spiced with oregano and thyme, with thin strips of veal and minced onion lightly sauteed in olive oil.")
I don't know about any of the other ones, but the spaghetti carbonara that we make has spaghetti, parmesan cheese, bacon, and eggs in it.
Spaghetti is the pasta type what you have indicated is sauce types.
For spaghetti itself there is capellini (capelli d'angeli - angel hair) spaghettoni - thick.
One I like is bucatelli which is looks like spaghetti but is long macaroni.
Carbonara is almost exactly like caesar salad on pasta - egg yolk, garlic, parmesan, bacon.
Bolognese is tomato meat sauce.
Pesto is pesto sauce - basil and pine nuts ground to a paste.
Putenesca (don't think the translation is allowed) pasta of women of the street - black olives, garlic etc.
Are you looking for spaghetti pasta types or the sauces for example you could have spaghetti alfredo instead of fettucini.
My favourite way to eat spaghetti is tetrazinni - white sauce, garlic, mushroom, sherry, chicken or turkey.
it differs because of the sauce that you use with the spaghetti.
spaghetti is pasta. The different types you're referring to are simply different sauces added to the spaghetti

Carbonara is as the previous answerer siad made with bacon and Parmesan.
Bolognese is the one most Americans are familiar with, a meat sauce
Milanese is a meat sauce with cream.
and pest is made from pureeing Basil, pinenuts, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Another good way is to heat some butter till it just starts to turn brown add two teaspoons of a good balsamic vinegar and serve tossed with the pasta, it is delicious.
Hope this helped
the sauces...........Carbonara is creamy with ham,Bolognese is a tomato and meat sauce (usually beef also cheese), Milanese is just from Milan (there is a few recipes from there) and pesto it just pesto and spaghetti. check out the different way to make the sauce it's easy to find, this recipes are very popular.
Google search pasta specialists for info and what you mentioned is sauce not types of spaghetti.
