Whats more fattening?!
Answers: the icing on the cake or the cake itself?
The icing... there should be no doubt.
Icing is fat and sugar.
I estimate that you have to eat 3 spoonfuls of cake to match the calories of 1 spoonful of icing.
In other words, if you eat the same weight of icing and cake. For example, 20 grams. The cake is about 3 times the volume of the icing.
I'd think the icing, though neither is exactly health food!
I'd say the icing.
Icing has more calories
Prob the icing!!
Icing
totally depends on the icing
Depends on the quantities of each and what the icing is made of. Usually I'd say the cake itself. Although if its something like a huge layer of chocolate butter icing...
icing has more calories and fat
icing all the way!!
Calorie wise, or fat? The probably the cake, depending on what the icing is made from.
Probably the icing.
the cake!!! thats the processed part.. the sugar in the icing turns to fat...
Of course icing. Just make sure the cake itself is not too sweet and is not baked in (too much) butter.
it depends on the ingredients. The buttery icings are probably higher in calories than the cake itself. If the cake mix itself has a lot of cream cheese, oil and other high calorie ingredients, then the cake itself may have more calories per serving than the icing.
I'd go wtih icing too.
If the cake is store bought, then the icing is more fattening because they make it with icing sugar and shortening. (appetizing)
