Why do hotdogs taste so much better at stadiums?!

Question: Or just about any sporting place, the hotdogs are great. I don't know what it is. At the local minor league stadium, they advertise as using Ball Park Turkey Franks, and I've tried buying the same exact ones and making them a million different ways, and they NEVER taste like the ones at the stadium.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of their secret...but maybe it's best that I don't find out, because then I'd be eating them all the time =/ They're only a dollar at the stadium and I usually get like 3 or 4.

Its a scientific fact - its because they never wash the grills.
Its like seasoning a wok - once you get the surface sealed you never wash them with soap either....

because it's served with excitement!!!

It's the atmosphere.....It's like having popcorn at the movie theatre.

It's the sport. And probably the beer.

First of all your paying an arm and a leg for the hot dog at the game so you bet your gonna enjoy and savor every bit you take. Secondly that same hot dog comes with the excitement of watching the game. The next time you buy a pack of hot dogs, put them on the grill while your friends are over at your place watching the game on tv. You'll find that the experience maybe a bit similar to actually being at the game.

P.S. Try watching the game on a big screen.

cause it's the thrill of eating a classic hot dog at a stadium
u know how u eat marshmallow by the campfire, popcorn at the movies, cotton candy at a fair etc.
