How do you store potatoes properly? i thought i was doing it right but they always get soft. why?!

Question: cool dark place.... they don't last as long as you would think... you need to use them within a week or two.

wrap potato in a newspaper or any paper so it wont be soft.

they don't last forever. store in a cupboard out of the plastic bag and cook them often!

just store in a kitchen without foils/plastic,do not refrigerate

you may need soft paper to keep them dry
