They don't have to be cooked...they taste great as is....but, I have a wonderful recipe for them. Cut up 4 chicken breasts (boneless/skinless) and cook them up in saucepan, add 1 large can candied yams, 1 bag prunes, 1 bag baby carrots and some pepper. Add 1 TBSP lemon juice and cook for about 20 mins. It is great!!!
i never cooked with prune, but I do eat them. I like the orange zest prunes the best
no
just follow the instructions and put lots of suger in.
They don't have to be cooked. They taste best when eaten fresh. Furthermore, they are also a good source of vitamins.
No, they do not. I do love stewed prunes though. I eat them right out of the box, but sometimes for breakfast, I put a few in a little water, and steam them for a few min, add a little sweetner, and wallah! They are good for you! That is my recipe. :)
i have never heard of cooked prunes.. you can eat them right out of the bag :)
