Do you think the taste of beef has changed over the last few years?!

Question: Being from farm country, I grew up eating a lot of beef. I have always loved a good steak, burger, didnt matter, I liked beef.
But I have noticed over the last 4-5 years maybe, especially the last 2 years, that beef just does not have that good aged taste any more. In fact most meats, just don't taste that good anymore to me, anyone else feel the same? I'm not talking going vegetarian, but I do eat lots more fish and veggies than ever before.

if you're buying your meat at a grocery store then you're getting a nice injection of sodium and other goodies to keep the meat preserved longer - this goes for chicken, beef, and pork - yuk! and don't even get me started on wal-mart's gas packed "meat"

what you need to do is find a local mom and pop butcher that buys local livestock and processes it themselves - this is the most natural best tasting meat - that's aged to perfection (not to mention the prices are usually better)

Yeah, do not feed properly, to much organics.

It has changed in the last 50 years, The Markets sold choice and prime cuts and now they sell a lesser quality. Pork no longer has the ":Flavor" because the pigs are mass produced with a scientific diet. If it all tasted like it did in the "Good Old Days" The price would be sky high , so it is a trade off.
