The back of your nose opens to the back of your throat. The projectile force will force the vomit out any way it can, including out your nose.

EWWW.

Do you know why an ear nose and throat specialist is a specialist in all three?

basic human anatomy. You drunkard :) :) :)

because your nasal passage is linked with your windpipe.
how ever (as you know from choking) both open from the mouth so the force of vomitting can also make its way up your nose

I _hate_ it when that happens. Especially if I've had spaghetti. It tickles waaayyy down in my throat when I pull one of the noodles the rest of the way out.

i dunnoe. but its nasty just to think about it!

its the human anatomy, i hate when that happens with rice!! YUCK!
