Is 'mmm' a universal sound when eating something delicious? Or is it mostly an English sound?!
Answers: Universal I think, although my Asian friends "mmm" when eating good food, they generally just "m", not such a long sound as English people do.
Good question, I think that comes from a moan, so when it refers to food, its mmmm, when it refers to, well sex, its called a moan
I would think universal
Each culture has a different sound...
I know in asia it sounds different, I have no idea how to spell something like that in a post so I won't try but they all have the same meaning...
They just sound different wherever you go.
Not sure as on the pasta ads at the moment the Italians kind of make a noisy kiss sound.
