Is Yakult made with yak's milk?!

Question: Is it cow milk in Yakult drink? The batch I got was made in Mexico but the first Yakult I saw was made in Japan. I was also wondering if the FDA monitored ALL products sold in the USA?
So is that stuff milk from other animals or what? It doesn't taste bad, it tastes like watery yogurt with "Tang" flavoring. But I have tried it and I was curious what kind of animal milk was used. It's from foreign countries and I don't think it's cow milk.

Yaks a re not native to Mexico, they are from the high Himalyian mountians in Nepal and Tibet, the tangy flavour is just ingredients and a culture like the one in yougart they use.

I buy it here in Canada, and milk for products like that are ultra high temparture pasturized whi means the milk is heat to 115-20 d F, regular milk is only treated for 30 seconds at 110 d F.

It is the same thing as YOO HOO in the US, it is powder milk and cocoa, so the spoilage issues are less likely, I buy the Yakult here in Toronto ON Canada at both my Latin stores and I have seen it still in my Japanese market
