oi Angela m !!!!! i am NOT middle aged I'm 37 (okay I'm looking down the barrel!) I remember it had a picture of each of the fruits on the wrapper I particularly remember the pineapple. I used to buy galaxy counters which had a picture of a giraffe on it and my mum bought the 5 centres things.
toffee apple blobs???nah don't remember them but i want one NOW.
i was in Chester recently and found one of those 'nostalgia' sweet shops. i bought:- coconut mushrooms, cinder toffee, jap desserts, and sweet baccy......yes i felt sick.but if I'd have just had a copy of the whizzer and chips as well.....................

I remember those bars as a kid. yubbly jubbly!

I remember em!! Potato puffs thats what you need!! (remember them)

Fingers, cadburys chocolate ones of course.

ooh I remember that! you took me right back there. Sainsburys do a fantastic chocolate bar: white and milk chocolate marbling, a slab, not divided into chunks, with honeycomb and fudge pieces, give it a go it is to die for!

Have a look in here, they sell all the old fashioned sweets that we all love.

I loved them wish they would bring them back

Yes
You know my pet peeve....
How many of all the same type of chocolate bar there are Sweet Marie and Oh Henry, Mars and snickers, many many the same and some of the good old different bars are gone.
My favourite
5 star bar - thin chewy caramel with some coconut chocolate coated.
Milk nut loaf - marshmallow and coconut.
Big Turk - still around but hard to find.
One cant remember the name - looked like caramel coloured chocoate (like Jersy milk bar) but was smooth and caramel flavoured chocolate.
It is the same with ice cream - 57 varieties of chocolate ice cream but try to find pistacio or cherry vanilla or orange pineapple.

i remeber my dad used to send me to the shop for the pink newspaper and a 5 centre lol i got 20p for my troubles

those bars were really tasty, but my favourite was "Old Jamaica"

only tried one once, made me sick! back then in the 50's i used to like frys 5 boys chocolate.
still love frys peppermint cream although i dont see it in the shops as much as i used to.

I remember that bar. I also remember Fry's Five Boys chocolate bar and a chocolate sandwich bar that had 3 layers one each of plain white and milk chocolate. And Fry's chocolate cream and peppermint cream
Oh dear I am getting carried away1
My daughter tells me there is a website where you can buy the sweets we enjoyed as littlekids but sadly we can't remember the name of it
Lynnie means CARAMAC it is re appearing. Saw it in Asda

Nothing like those - they were my favourite too!

Do you remember Frys Chocolate Cream - not as good as the Five Centre Bar tho!

ooo memories!

:o)

Fry's (Cadbury's) stopped making them YEARS ago, and have no intention of bringing them back.
