Am I the only person in the world that does not like extra virgin olive oil?!
Answers: Just about every chef you see cooks with it. There are many recipes that call for it. I bought some and have used it to sautee/cook several things ...and I don't like the taste of it. It changes the taste of the foods too. Any suggestions on an alternative that is healthy?
Nope, I don't like it either, it's too strong. You can try other olive oils: there's extra virgin, virgin, then just regular olive oil. The regular one is very healthy and doesn't taste of anything. It's good for sauteeing (sp!) with, and won't ruin the flavors in your meals.
it to fat it had extra pounds not need i am telling you go for it
i would use it less for cooking but add it to any salad i eat... it makes the lettuce taste so much better.. :) besides olive oil is good for your skin you can make masks out of it. or even if you just add it to food it helps.
There are many types of olive oil.... you should experiment. I beg you to try several before you decide because there is no better oil to eat.
Organic expeller-pressed canola oil. It won't change the flavors of the food your cooking.
Have you tried Light extra virgin olive oil? I agree with you the the regular stuff has a strong flavor and I only use it with certain dishes, I like the light variety if the flavor of the oil is going to be an issue.
