Do you have any fun crock pot ideas? I'm trying to plan ahead instead of eating frozen dinners.?!
Answers: I've checked on-line for some websites. Any other suggestions?
I have a great book called "Fix it and Forget It 5 Ingredient Favorites, Comforting Slow-cooker Recipes" You really should get it. I have tried so many out of it that were great. If you want to email me with the type of recipe (ie:chicken, pork, veggie) I would send you one or two of them.
Corn chowder in the crock pot is really good.

Fry some onions and garlic. Add potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, beans and meat. Bay leaves, paprika and garlic cloves and a little salt. Add lots of water. After most of the veg are soft, add barley.
Recipezaar.com has really good crock pot recipes. You can sort the recipes by what uses a crock pot:) Happy cooking!
yellow flavored rice, can or broc/cheese soup, some fresh or frozen brocc, and a whole chicken...put all 2gether in crock in am (dont forget the water for the rice to add and chicken and be added frozen also) cook all day. Dinner time enjoy but watch for bones as meat falls off bones when done right. Kids love this dish!
