Is diet soda worse than regular soda?!
Answers: I gave up regular soda a long time ago and now I only drink diet but I was wondering if it's bad for you? Can diet soda make you gain weight too?

Diet soda is worse. Yeah, it has 0 calories. Wanna know why it's so sweet? IT's because there's aspartame in it. Aspartame is a sweetener with 0 calories. It is HORRIBLE for your health. Not only does it cause cancer and other diseases, it causes heart problems, makes you horribly fat, and it is a POISON.
I cannot stress this enough. Please, Stop drinking diet soda...

It is actually just as bad as drinking regular soda I think I read some where it has more sacrin in it.
Regualr more bad. It has sugar plus calories. Deit got 0 calories but has Sacrein.

I do agree with the rest of the panel...Yes it is just as bad or worse!!! If you would cut sodas out completely to maybe 1 time a month or something like that...you would be better off!! Another suggestion drink bottle water!!
No diet soda is better because it has no cafine and less suger.
There was a study released recently showing that people who drink diet soda regularly are more likely to be pre-diabetic or develop Type II diabetes. However, the authors of the study said that they don't know if the diet soda is a cause or a symptom -- meaning they don't know if drinking lots of diet soda contributes to developing diabetes, or if people who are at risk of developing diabetes tend to drink lots of diet soda.
I've always thought myself (in a completely unscientific way) that there might be some correlation, since drinking something that tastes sweet but contains no sugar might somehow trick the body into releasing some small amount of insulin, which could build up an insulin resistance over time.
The best liquid in the world for your body is water, so I'd play it safe and drink as much of that as you can.
soda is not good for anyone so it can make fat sometime! But not sure. You just have to wait and see!

i know that diet soda has a lot of aspertane in it...and aspertane has not yet been clinically prooven safe..
It might be like MSG ( cancerous but we didnt even know it)
