Looooove it. I like all things Marmite..... crisps, sausages etc. On a cold winters day, I like to drink it with hot water, DELICIOUS. You could try it with some recipes. I add a teaspoon to my home made spag bol sauce and it's also great with cheese on toast! Wana know something really strange? If I get a craving for it, I have been known to put some on a tea spoon and eat it! Yummy!

love it! on warm buttery toast.....

EEUUGGGHHH!

So-so <*-*>

yuck!

it is EVIL!!!

LOVE IT!!!!
When i was at secondary school i had each day in my sandwiches for lunch - for 5 years! and never got bored. Still love it and panic if there's none in the cupboard.

Interestingly (or maybe not...) i've noticed when abroad, how many (mostly British) people ask if i have any with me.... i'm taking a small pot with me on my hols next week - wonder how popular i'll be at breakfast time...!

Hate it, why it has lasted this long is beyond me

love it; on hot toast ;add it to the beef when roasting, great stuff;gives a lovely tang to the potatos too.its making me drool all over my laptop, think i will go and get some on the go now;bye

hate it

marmite is nothing compared to VEGEMITE!!!!! Vegemite is the BEST

Strange that the 14 people who hated Marmite failed to say why!

Tastes do vary with countries

Marmite is the traditional Bovril (oxblood +vinegar) taste that began in UK hundreds of years ago to cover up the awful smell of mutton and beef that suffered from no refrigeration.

People in the U.S. that use LEE& PERRINS on their steak would like Marmite but not many like either one.

But those who say they hated Marmite andcould not even understand how it has lasted so long and is still sold forget that the same thing is said about that gooey, white mush called GRITS.

People in UK and Europe often ask " do Americans actually order that white glue for breakfast? instead of delicious steel cut oats?

And how about boiled peanuts and collard greens, very popular in the U.S. but NOWHERE else.

President Bush Sr. said onNational TV how he hated BROCCOLI. But nobody sued him like they sued Opraph for saying she hated beef hambugers. I wonder why.

And in Sweden everyone you see walking to work in the mornings is munching on a SALTED HERRING !

In Scotland, as well the most popular breakfast dish is a "KIPPER", very salty and high smelling, that would SIMPLY not sell well in Georgia or Florida especially !

Tastes do vary, don't they ?

In Quebec Canada the most popular food is a terrible mess of cheese curd with gravy called POUTINE.

The strangest thing is the American's aversion to vinegar on their fries. Even MacDonald's DON'T have it, yet in Canada nobody would eat fries without a dollop of MALT vinegar.

Finally, my wife and I were dying for a good plate of pasta in ROME. We asked the hotels why they didn't serve pasta and were told that "pasta is for peasants!" and NOT served in their fine hotle (the Savoi)

Of course we found it on the side streets but there weren't any "Olive Gardens" to be sure.

So I say " Long live MARMITE : long live GRITS !

Totally love it as a crisp favour

I'm not even sure anymore...
