Did I poison myself?!

Question: I accidentally ate some tartar sauce that had expired in 7/2006 and I've felt queasy ever since. This was 7 days ago. I haven't vomited. What is happening? What should I do to get rid of the queasiness?

Food poisoning typically occurs within 24-48 hours of consumption.. Since it's been 7 days it's safe to assume that you're OK.

you are fine, just don't think about the expiration date, and it will go away

You should probably go to a doctor and they can tell you,so I'd go to the doctor either today or tomorrow.

you could just be imaging it, but to be on the safe side, go to your doctor.

It is all in your mind.
If it was unsafe you would have been throwing up within 24 hours.

I doubt that you ate enough of this sauce to do anything to ya. It is probably mostly mental because you know for a fact that it was really old. If you continue to feel like this, maybe head to the doc for checkup.

A queasy stomach remedy I use it to make a banana shake, it helps to sooth your tummy!

You didn`t say if you had kept the tarter sauce refrigerated all that time. It could have gotten bad if not. If it had been kept cold it should have been alright. If your stomach continues to feel abnormal you should see a doctor or go to the emergency room for treatment

How many days ago? And you are still queezy? Sounds like you may have a touch of the flu.
