Eating Sushi?!

Question: The guy I'm seeing loves to go out for sushi and so do I but I can't eat it "properly". Everytime i try my gag reflexies kick in and I have to suffer through chewing and not trying to get sick. I normally eat in small bites out of habbit. I would break it in two but as everyone knows that doesn't work plus it looks weird...what should I do?

you can try the california roll or the boston roll these dont have that weird "fishy" taste.

If you give them a try you might like it!

Or you can tell him you don't like sushi..The worst that can happen is that you guys won't eat sushi. It's not like he'll dump because you don't like sushi...

Stuff the whole thing in your mouth and just chew it a little. Then swallow as big as chunks as you can without choking and getting indigestion. Thats what I did when I had to eat sushi with eel in it. GAHHH!

You don't have to eat sushi. It certainly is an acquired taste.

Why force yourself to eat something that you obviously don't really like?

I love Sushi myself, but I see no reason in pretending you like it. Just don't eat it. There are other types of food you can go out and enjoy. If your boyfriend likes Sushi then go to a place where they have a teppan bar so you can get chicken, steak, shrimp or something else you will eat.

Order some thing else! There is no law that says you have to eat Sushi. I'm sure your guy will understand. Order some thing else and enjoy your time together!!!
