Sugar Cookies
2-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
sugar

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. In a separate
bowl, combine sugar and oil. Add to the second mixture the eggs and
vanilla. Add the flour mixture all at once and beat well. Shape the
dough into 1/2 inch balls. Flatten the balls as thin as you can
between lightly floured hands. (To give a corrugated effect, score
them in parallel lines with a fork dipped in flour.) Sprinkle with
granulated sugar. Bake about 10-12 minutes on a lightly greased cookie
sheet.
or
make dough up like you would for biscits,
you can cut out small round circles deep fri in oil till brown sprinkle with sugar(home made dounts)
or flatten the dought (roll out then put jam in middle close up and fry in skillet still golden brown-(jam turnover)

really quick and good. mix a cup of flour, w/ 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 egg and 1/2 cup of milk ( make sure mixture is still thick. you can form little balls and fry in butter or oil ( what ever you prefer). fry lightly until golden on both sides and set aside for a minute or 2 on a paper towel to drain excess oils and they are ready to eat. they should be really soft inside and crispy on the outside.
