Not really sure I ever want to find out how it tastes.
They always vomit quite forcefully after eating it on Fear Factor. That's enough warning for me.

Good luck to you though!

I Personally don't know. but I was watching bizzare foods with andrew zimmern on the travel channel, and he described it as a "very eggy hard boiled egg" He said it was a strong eggy taste to it, and a crunch. he ate it along with salt and a little bit of vinegar. Im kinda curious as well, it doesn't seem like anything I would find appealing, but who knows.

balut is an exotic and an aphrodisiac food popularly known in the Philippines... it is a fertilized duck (or chicken) egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell... it is also considered a high-protein, hearty snack... why don't you give it a try? As a Filipino, I suggest that you should give it a try, even once in your lifetime...

curious? then who knows the opportunity?can always pass play orand outcomin here???
