Since that last question how many of you went to the kitchen to make a BLT?!

Question: Just curious! Hanging out in Food and Drink always makes me hungry!!

Answers: Just curious! Hanging out in Food and Drink always makes me hungry!!

I love BLT's but I cannot have the Bacon part. So the BLT without the Bacon it isn't so good. I adore anything with pork fat. Emeril is right Pork Fat rules!!! Now I want some pork fat. I have to get in there and sneak some somehow!! Pork fat rules!!! I need some sausage or something. I know there is some in there somewhere. I won't be OK until I get it!! Now I'm not only hungry but on a quest for pork fat. I won't stop until I've had some. Can't take my blood pressure tonight!!!

Nope. I just finished making and eating french toast!

I live in China and must take a long taxi ride to the big supermarket to find bacon! It is expensive but worth it!!! I am going in the morning and within 24 hours will have downed a huge BLT !! Mmmmmm!

ooh, I want a BLT sandwich!!
...no fair

but yeah makes me hungry too

not I

I am constantly going to the kitchen, and i am getting my supper on the go, but what is the BLT mean. i eat when i am hungry not because of my tummy growling.

me

We had ours yesterday evening.

I thought about it, but I'm not all that hungry. I think I'll make one in the late morning / early afternoon, for brunch since I usually don't even eat breakfast.

Sounds good but I have no bacon,, I had to make do with an egg sandwich.

Not me....I just made a great meatloaf recipe, called......Best Meatloaf I've Ever Made...........and it is! Fixed some cabbage too. That's for supper, now I can't wait to eat.

You should try that meatloaf recipe! Yummmmm!!!

nfd?

The Best Meatloaf I've Ever Made
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup minced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
2 pounds extra-lean ground beef
3 slices bread, toasted and crumbled
7 buttery round crackers, crushed
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 1/2 tablespoons sour cream
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce, divided
1/4 cup milk
3 tablespoons ketchup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the onion and garlic 5 minutes, until onion is tender. Remove from heat, and season with salt and pepper. In a large bowl, mix the onion and garlic, beef, crumbled bread, crushed crackers, egg, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Gradually stir in the milk 1 teaspoon at a time until mixture is moist, but not soggy. Transfer the mixture to a 5x9 inch loaf pan. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven 40 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), and continue baking 15 minutes, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
In a small bowl, mix the remaining tomato sauce and ketchup. Pour over the top of the meatloaf, and continue baking 10 minutes.

NOTE: I DO NOT USE THE TOMATO SAUCE. I REPLACE I WITH KETCHUP AND US ALL KETCHUP. I LIKE THE TASTE BETTER.

Never. The kitchen is only my source for cereal, instant noole soups, and other things of that nature.

i just ate baby back ribs
mm that was good

you know. i've never ate a BLT before.
gotta add that to the list of what i should do before i die
