Do you check labels when shopping?!

Question: Regarding food labels - yes. I actually familiarised myself with the artifical, colours, preservatives, sodium(salt), fats (trans, sat, mono) etc and their numbers/names and also % of the supposed food. Since then, I can very quickly peruse labels when shopping. You'll be very surprised in those differences between several brands of the same product.

Usually

yes! people stare at me when i check food labels, but heck i want to know what i'm eating.

yes I will do when I am shopping for food. or if buying something for my pc. good question to ask

Food labels? Yes. Clothes labels? For washing instructions etc, don't care about the designer!!

always, i have a milk allergy.

Yes m'am! I need to know how many calories are in a serving, how much fat, sodium and carbs, etc. People tend to check the food labels nowadays, and it's a good way to find out what you're putting into your body. Back then, when they didn't have food labels, foods you didn't know had trans fat/loads of sodium, you were loading into your body like a dump truck. People should take more time to read the labels and make sure they're picking healthy choices.

Yes, I am on a 1,000 calories a day diet and check every label closely. I have lost 73 pounds so to me it is worth it!!

Yup, my wife unfortunately cant eat anything with wheat in in, so i always check for that.

No. Vegetables, meat and bread are pretty straight forward. I check the expiration date on dairy produce and meat but that is as far as my interest goes. I don't own a microwave so don't have to bother with the hastle of microwave meals and don't like snack foods that much. What is the point in micro chips when you can bake a jacket potato?

OMG, yes. I am a bit obsessed. I check the labels on everything. If there are ingredients / chemicals I`ve never heard of (especially within food), I won`t buy it.
