How much is 'one serving' of scrambled eggs at a buffet?!

Question: Recipes always say '2 eggs'. Great if you are cooking, but when faced with a large pan of eggs, how much is a serving? I think it's 1/2 cup. Does anyone out there know for sure?

My cookbook says that a large egg is approximately 1/4 cup. This site indicates that 4 large, 4 x-large or 4 jumbo eggs make one cup:

I think you are very safe in figuring that a 1/2 cup serving is equivalent to 2 eggs.

Probably 1/2 to 3/4 cup. Because a scrambled egg would not have much more in it - maybe some milk or water. But if you can picture 2 eggs, squished down into a measuring cup, that's how much room it would take up.
