Sounds like you found an orange that wasnt ripe or inseason. As ive noticed some when its fall or winter just dont have the right flavor others do.

As how it tastes to me, sweet, very juicy, and very messy if in season. But fresh orange juice so worth the pain of juicing them.

Sounds like you got an orange that was not ready or ripe yet. They should be sweet with a hint of sour and nice and juicy. You probably got the flavor but without the sweetness. That happens sometimes.

Don't listen to Haven... EVERYONE who is ANYONE (especially those who live in Florida) know that the winter is citrus season and that is when all of Florida oranges are harvested, hence the best oranges... duh.. Good job Haven...

But an oragne?.. never heard of it.. Sounds like an orangutan baby. Or an orangutan midget. Or an orangutan from mars.
