Bug sandwich?!

Question: I want to try something new. I want to put bugs in my sandwich everyday for lunch instead of lunchmeat. What is a bug that would go well with whole grain bread and swiss cheese? It has to be low in fat and high in protein, preferrably.

Where do they publish nutritional information for bugs?

Also, don't knock it till you've tried it - it might be good.

Let us know if this one works.

yeah thats kind of gross.

id try like a worm

Try some of the roaches that crawl around your house, they are very good for you,

Spiders are the best, but they really have to be alive to get the full "popping" effect when you bite into them.

Bon appetite

I think you should really stick with food! who knows where bugs have been crawlin around too!

I eat a lot of crickets, but for a beginner I would recommend fried grasshopper. They have a pleasant crunch.

Most of your foods already include bugs, but if you need a few more, I suggest crickets. You can buy them at any bait shop and several gas stations. Even most Walmarts and pet shops have a selection. My advice is start with the small ones and work up to the large ones.

locusts with cheese is nice, they taste nutty.
