When dining out, what's the best way to say you only want cream in your coffee if the place's coffee sucks?!

Question: Do what I do, order the coffee and if it tastes bad after you get it then ask for cream, or order the cream on the side to begin with (that why they'll think you just want to control how much cream is put in).

Wonder only drinks beer and hard liquor.
Sorry my friend.

Just say, "Cream, no sugar, please."
Most places bring the cream and sugar separately.

just say it... hell you're buying the coffee if you think cream will make it taste a little better, say I WANT CREAM PLEASE.
to hell with the weird looks. they ask questions say their coffee taste like skunk piss

Just tell them to bring it and don't use it if you don't have to?

I'm a waitress, and if somebody tells me the coffee sucks, I'll make a new pot for them. My tip is worth it. ; )

Ah, well, that's a horse of a different color, then. Again I say just ask for it and leave it unused on the table if you don't need it.

They usually ask us cream or milk

Ask for it on the side.

Actually, I'm not to worried about letting a restaraunt know when they come up short--when asked if I would like steak sauce, I say "I hope I don't need it." I don't worry at all that changing my mind and asking for it later is an indirect statement that my steak sucked--either they know it or they need to know.

"oh and bring me some cream would ya? Cuz this coffee really sucks. Thanks doll! You're the best!"
Be nice or they'll spit in something...

The Cat says to just bring him the cream and skip the crappy coffee. He's FAR to hyper as it is.

creme only please!

kindly tell them. no ones feelings are going to get hurt
