After it has been opened, water starts to grow bacteria, just like milk and should be treated similarly.

Mine always tastes the same.

You'd better be more careful about who you leave your water around from now on. :-P

i guess be cause the water gets warm and the thing-a-majigy inside of it just don't taste as good.

There are 114 elements on earth--one of these is in bottled water and after it mixes with oxygen, it mutiplies and.....well,just take my word for it, it's ugly !!!

because it's not fresh and you were used to it being fresh

The oxygen has "cooked" out. Get two glasses. Pour the water into one, and pour it into the second one. Pour back and forth several times. This will re-oxygenate the water. Now taste it.

i'm guessing that when you usually open up a water bottle, they have been chilled in a fridge for a while. And even if it hasn't, there has been no violent shaking or bacteria that might have entered the water. That's my best guess

I assume that like anything else we consume it can get stale
