Yet another thing wrong with the world....

Incase you drop some of the hotdogs lol

so u can put the other two in your mouth...lol

Either they dont communicate or perhaps the overlap makes you but an extra pack of buns. So then you have spare buns and you think Hey I will buy more hotdogs?
etc etc etc

too true shame on the bun factory

One of the mysteries of the universe.

because us americans dont always think things thru before inventing them its another way for the rich to get richer

hi there, what ? am i the only person that loves having two hotdogs in a bun ? how many of the blokes haven't tried it before? there's a way to solve that problem. Also if you buy 5 packs of buns and 4 hotdog packs then you would end up with 40 buns and 40 hotdogs, thats what they want you to do.

Here in Canada our Hot dogs/weiners are packed in 12 and we also have buns in a 8 pack and ones in a 12 pack, even top sliced ones all year long, when I worked as a chef like this question and why at Xmas here our egg nog is labelled "Lait Du Poulee", which trans lates to chicken milk, I ask how they got the tiny stools under chicken to milk them??

With the buns it is a packaging issue, the machinery is set up for that particular size/amount and the larger one are a specialty pack. It is a mystery as you said why they still package them this way still.
