How can I really keep my stomach from rumbling in school?!

Question: I've tried everything. I eat an unnecessarily huge breakfast, I eat 2-3 Nature's Promise bars throughout the course of a day, and I've even started wearing size 36 pants instead of 34's, just to be sure that the pants weren't putting pressure on my stomach. Well, now I know it's not the pants, and I'm just about ready for an answer. How can I really keep my stomach from rumbling in school? I know it's not the end of the world, as a matter of fact, it's just the opposite. It's normal and I try to tell myself that. For Christ's sake, it's only a stomach, but it's embarrassing. I go throughout most of the day worrying that my stomach will make a noise, even when I know it won't. I'm obviously thinking about it too much, so how can I get it off my mind? I'm totally stressing and over nothing. PLEASE HELP!!

corrr the bane of my life too lol; i find holdin my breath and keepin my stomach very still and tense wen i feel a grumble coming lol

but make sure u eat health snacks such as fruit/cereal bars throughtout the day and get ur healthy meals too, also drink water that keeps u feelin full

dont wori u wil get over this lol we all had or have sumthn in school that we realy worried about lol and actually its more u who notices it the most, if it does rumble just grab ur stomach and laugh and say 'its my stomach' and giggle, everyone shud laugh with you

yeh ur stressin over nothin but dont wori, the more u think about it the more u wil think its a huge big thing lol just remember EVERYONE has been in a quiet, people surrounded place and ther stomach rubbled, i have Irratable Bowel Syndrom so i get it really bad and often it sounds like fartin or just goes on FOREVER lol....you get used to it

i think wen ur stomach is digestin food is wen u feel hungry, not wen ur stomach is empty necessarily, but keep drinkn water and eatin fruit, it wil help, dont eat junk food, fizy drinks or chew gum; they wil make it more noisy

hide a bag of chips, or actually something that is unnoticable in your backpack durring class and eat it.

drink water..

haha.....thats cute xD
um...eat more....lol in school im literaly constantly eating random stuff

um maybe drink alot of water?

idk.....

Maybe your digestive system is reacting badly to something you regularly eat (I'm guessing for breakfast, since you didn't mention anything about rumbling after lunch.)
Maybe you're lactose intolerant. Do you drink milk/eat cereal with milk for breakfast?
Or perhaps it's something in those Nature's Promise bars. Or maybe you're eating TOO MUCH for breakfast and your system is just trying to process it all.
See a doctor... can't hurt, right?

You don't have to eat a "huge" breakfast, but if you eat a high-carb breakfast it will stay with you longer than bacon and eggs. Have a bowl of cereal, preferably whole wheat, with skim milk. Sprinkle on a couple of tablespoons of dry milled flax seed and a couple of tablespoons of walnuts. Add some sliced bananas or raisins if you like. Take a small pack of pretzels or oatmeal-raisin snack cake in your backpack to eat between classes midway between your first class and lunch. Drink some water every chance you get.

eat more at breakfest
