Fun Foods Question: What am I?!

Question: I was discovered accidentally around 10,000 B.C. Historians agree I was discovered by Neolithic peoples in Central Asia. Since 500 BC I have been praised for my health benefits.

I am called "the milk of eternal life." I made my entrance to America around 1784 by Turkish immigrants. By 1940, I was mass produced and have been a staple in American homes.

I am rich in potassium, calcium, protein, and B12. I can stimulate the immune system and kill bad "bugs" or bacteria. I can lower cholesterol levels, aid in digestion, relieve constipation and colitis. I speed the recovery from antibiotic use.
